Bureauvanbeers was founded by Nienke van Beers. Originally educated as an art historian, she decided to pursue her path in the world of marketing and communications. During her career, she has gained wide experience in numerous projects in the contemporary art world, Dutch government and higher education. Nienke is an experienced manager, but one who knows the tricks of the trade.
She handled the publicity campaigns for outdoor exhibitions and art events such as Sonsbeek 2008, directed project communication teams at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and temporarily took over the daily business as interim communication manager at Fonds BKVB, SKOR and the Willem de Kooning Academy. From 2014-2020 she was the head of Marketing & Communications at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
With Bureauvanbeers, she combines the best of two worlds. Together with her network, she develops innovative solutions to complex issues – for clients who are ready to take the next step.
