Group accommodation
In Burgundy, two hours below Paris, lies the picturesque Moulin du Merle. An old water mill with 8 bedrooms that can accommodate around 15 guests. There is a spacious garden all around with a small river and pond, ducks and a vegetable garden.
Nature, yoga & good food
During Easter and Pentecoast 2024, the Moulin will host two four-day packages. Great food and drinks, make new friends or reunite with family, yoga in the morning among the trees, a long contemplative walk or helping out in the vegetable garden: it's all possible! Like your privacy? It's all good. You can apply alone, as a couple or with a group of friends and family.
1. Easter package
Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April (3 nights)

2. Pentecost package
Friday 17 till Monday 20 May (3 nights)

- Monday: breakfast | departure

Price per package: €350 per person*.
This includes 3 nights' accommodation with breakfast, 2 x yoga and dinner or snack on arrival. Beds are made and towels are provided.
A three-course dinner will be served on Saturday and Sunday evenings for €25, including water, coffee and tea. Wine is charged separately (per bottle). When booking, please let us know if and which day(s) you will join us for dinner. A single room is (limited) available for the same all-in rate.
Yoga
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, a yoga class is taught by Maria Dzodan, who is a trained yoga teacher and breathwork professional. In fine weather, the class will take place in the garden. Please bring your own yoga mat.
Guests and rooms
For this package, there is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 guests. There are 8 bedrooms with 2, 3 or more beds, below on this page you can see a picture of the rooms per floor. A single room is available (limited). There are 3 bathrooms and several toilets in the house, so you do not have private sanitary facilities. The living room, dining room and kitchen are also at guests' disposal during their stay.
Accessibility
Saint-Germain des Bois is located in Burgundy (Nièvre), about two hours below Paris. It is easily accessible by train (Eurostar to Paris, then train to Clamecy). By car, it is about 8.5 hours from Amsterdam. On the Moulin du Merle website you will find all information about the route, the surroundings and the house.

To book for the Easter or Pentecost package, please email me at nienke@bureauvanbeers.nl. If you want to come with a group of friends, it is best to let me know right away so you can participate together! Please also state if you would like to have dinner at the Moulin on Saturday or Sunday evening.
Would you like to take an option? Then I ask for a deposit of €100 per person (payment request via Whatsapp). I will invoice the rest two weeks prior to your arrival. You will receive an invoice. You can cancel by 16 February (Easter package) and 5 April (Pentecoast package) at the latest. Then I still have six weeks to recruit new participants.
*This is a trial package, which is why we can offer it at a one-off reduced rate.
